I tried to read it at the age of 15 with the desire of becoming 'intelligent':), but I didn't even read the first 100 pages, because I found it very boring. Probably I was bit immature for this very serious book. One thing for sure he [Dickens] is got a dark sense of humour, which I didn't like.
